Minister Tiilikainen met with Japanese Minister of the Environment Yamamoto

Minister of the Environment Kouichi Yamamoto met with Finnish Minister of Agriculture and the Environment Mr. Kimmo Tiilikainen on 8 March.

Minister Yamamoto presented to his Finnish counterpart on-going Japanese research activities in collaboration with Finland on greenhouse gases, which utilize data obtained from the Greenhouse gases Observing SATellite(GOSAT). Both Japan and Finland agreed to facilitate research cooperation in the field of climate change.

Minister of Agriculture and the Environment of Finland Kimmo Tiilikainen, accompanied by a business delegation, visits Japan on 8-9 March 2017.
